About
Ian studied Art and Design at Cap College, in North Vancouver BC. Graduating in 1980 from the Commercial Art Program, he started work in the Electric Sign Business, designing and building Neon signs. This was followed by his own sign shop in Kelowna in 1988 and finally a move to Nanaimo in 1993.
Blanchet Graphics is a home based business, drawing from 30 years experience in the sign trade, producing quality products.
Ian also produces commissioned paintings in Acrylic and has been involved in several co-op galleries in Nanaimo.
